I did use inverted commas!!!!! Don't get me started, I can feel one of me turns......(and yes, of course I've been drinking, trying to forgot about our beloved optically challenged, pictish oberfurher)

How are your deep growly notes coming along? I'll expect a demonstration next time we meet. :-)

It does seem that the motoring journalist/writers/photographers of the UK seem to have a combined dislike for the Cyclops of the North. Jeremy seems to lead the pack followed closely by our very own Trevor!

I have to say I did sign the "Jeremy Clarkson for Prime Minister" petition thinking it was a bit of a wheeze at the time, but in hindsight we should all have taken to the streets with banners!

At least with "Jezza" it would have been a fun, fast & furious drive to disaster. Tyres would have been squealing, rubber burning, and the pit lane would definitely have been lined with beautiful girls. We'd all have had a beer in our hand, a song in our heart and a smile on our face as the ship went down somewhere off the "English Riviera" on a bright sunny July day. With Gordon its just numbing resigned disbelief while drinking cold tea and eatting soggy biscuits in the drizzle as the ship slowly sinks beneath the cold grey waves just off Grimsby in mid February.

On the bright side though my engine should be back sometime in March, so I might be able to squander the last of my hard earned on some petrol come April! Thats "No More Pretend Trips!". The real thing will soon be mine! Still not getting to excited, as I've been here before. :(

Best keep practicing the "Vrmmmmmm Vrmmmmmm". But the fingers are crossed!

I did think the only character involved with cars that went "Parp Parp" was Noddy..... I could be mistaken???? Aren't we supposed to be V8's with a roar and a definite Vrrrooooom.

This (I have to say) is not exactly petrol head muscle car material, more a 2CV sort of sound. I think Trevor you need to research another book sharpish! You've been away to long![:)]

You know I don't mean it,...... but "Parp Parp!" Come on!!!!!

Actually, if we're getting pedantic, it was Mr. Toad ("it's the ONLY thing....")

You can Vroooom if you wish - I'll sit the corner and have a quiet parp.

Won't look at that as it might corrupt someone as youthful and innocent as moi. I think the smiley that Nik posted gives the game away?? For shame....
