I can take photos if required, but I need new front rotors
on AKL 1381 and am not sure of their origen. Could they be Jaguar  ?

Foto would be fine. They are definitely not Jaguar but AP (do you have AP calipers?) or AC. For the AK serie the rotors were specially made for AC. But I think for some AKL they used AP brakes. Do you have a two-piece rotor? Then it is AP. If not you have to contact one of these guys to get new rotors:

I think Bob Green supplied brakes to AC / Autocraft. I'm not sure, but I think they are based on BMW parts.
Bob has been very helpful with the brakes on my car and his link is here http://www.bgdevelopments.co.uk/

   All the best - John.

I got my new rotors off Gerry Hawkridge at Hawkcars last summer.  He had them on the shelf and they were much cheaper than some other people I could mention.

Johan,

you have definitely AC Rotors. But they don't look so bad. What's the thickness?

Thanks for the replies. Sorry to seem non-responsive but I am at Disney World for a couple days. The rotors are warped and have been since the late 1990s when I ran this as a track car. I installed brake cooling ducts too late. I really only need front rotors or perhaps could turn them. The car only has a few thousand miles on it. I do not know much about the car except that it was originally a "stand in" for a damaged CSX competition car and when that car was finally actually restored this car was sold on and became a level three fiberglass replica-meaning that the whole car was painted flat black so that it might look like fiberglass and was taken to shows to try to sell fiberglass replicas. level 1 was just a body and frame, level 2 a roller, level 3 was a complete car and this was the display car. George Stauffer ended up with both this and the damaged competition CSX and I bought this from him. I took steel wool and paint thinner and scrubbed off the black paint and under it was this green which I then buffed, and buffed and buffed some more. It has had a 427 so in it as far back as I can tell with aluminum heads (Thunderbolt heads). I'll post more pictures when I return from vacation. Thanks again for the replies.
