Whilst going tube came across this top gear episode at the 1997 Motorshow and sure enough the AC stand was visited

AC appears around the 8 minutes 50 seconds in case you cannot stand to watch all the way though.

This one is of the Ac Aceca which I own now, does not have its lotus engine anymore which is a shame. I plan to put a V8 ford into the car

Go to around 4.33 and see a really good overview of the factory. Note the Mk1 and Mk2 were finsihed and built at Brooklands, only a few were done at Frimley. T801ATP aceca is in the video, this car had wood in some parts. But about 5-6 years ago someone took it apart and removed the wooden elements replaced by steel. Would really like to know what happened to the first Aceca Brooklands.
