That’s good news and on the main body .I hope you put the AC engine/ box and overdrive in instead of a v8 project as suggested by the original seller.
The pin punch of 531  seems  similar to the punching/ changing  of 526 to 527 on the door so probabaly something done during assembly of several cars but I was not even born in 1955 so not qualified  to say.
