3000 engine mounts
« on: April 11, 2019, 20:08:11 »
Does anyone know what engine mounts are used in the 3000?
Any idea where I can get some from?

They were Metalastik Metacone part no. 17-04/2-04.  I think one of the '4's refers to the 'Shore Number' which is the hardness of the rubber, with 1 being the softest and 4 the hardest.  Thames Ditton originally used a softer one.  Not sure of current availability - you could try Brian Eacott, Ian Winter or https://www.robush.com/metalastik-mounts/ (or ebay?).

Hello all,
I contacted Robush. They responded with:

Manufacturing have a production run going through early mid-June (2019) for these parts

I can add to that order

Price each £26.75 (4 needed per car)

Delivery (UK) £10.00

If anyone is interested we may be able to get a discount for volume?
