help identify these tailights

No, I doubt it, look for a major manufacturer, small one like AC, Aston, NSU etc did not manufacture this type of item, they picked what was already on the shelves from the like of Fiat, Alfa Romeo or Lancia in the 50's. The fact they are Hella could mean they came from a German made Fiat (Neckar) for example. Also look at early Autobianchi, Maserati and Lambo. It looks like this light can be restored however. A chrome shop which can do pot-metal can do this easily. Also, the square in the center looks like a reflector, I would focus on early 60's more than 50's for that reason! 59 on.

Mark:

Looks like the Fiat 1100 sedan may be the origin of your taillight. I haven't found any decent shots online, (not a real collector car, you know), but oddly enough, I did find this video.

Watch it all the way through.  There is a close up shot of the taillights.

   Check it out.

There may be quite a few out there.  They were sold in Italy as Fiats, Spain, as Seats, and Germany as Fiat Neckars.  They also built them in India for a number of years, sold as Padminis.

   Who'd a thunk it?

Good Guess! However, there is a white band across the lens which looks different! It may some sort of strap for packaging.

Looks like each lense is in 2 pieces, (or 3 if the center reflector is also a separate item) and the line is just the backgound the parts were laid on for the photograph.  I think these are the correct ones.

   Not a bad price, either.

   Well, that was easy.

Anything else we can do for you, Mark?
