ACE 500DAE

I have recently re joined the club with a 3000me but in the 70s I had a 1959 Ace Bristol reg no 500DAE. Does it still exist and is the owner in the ACOC?  The car was  originally a dark metallic blue with a gray hood and blue  hard top with chrome wire wheels. The seats were grey leather and the engine was a Bristol 100D2.

   AC Ace Bristol BE435 (10.04.1958) reg  500DAE engine  was 100D2 806 then replaced with 100D2 990, is still on record in the Ace Bristol register to a  N. Collier in Scotland. ( Can any one confirm this is still correct ?)
   
   BE435 Left Thames Ditton painted Imperial Crimson with light grey interior.  to/ for  a F D Parry in Bristol.
   
   Do you have any period pics when you owned this Ace ?? if so could you please email a few pics,  for my record and also to forward on to Tony Bancroft the official Ace Bristol Registrar.

The car you owned should be chassis BE435 (April 1958) and according to the register it still seems to exist, the last listed owner residing in Scotland.
   The 100D2 engine seems to have been exchanged for a similar one but a little newer (990 instead of 806). The current engine was in BE1132 originally.
   The register states you owned the car since approx. 1965 but by 1968 it was already credited to another owner. Can this be accurate since you mention you owned it in the 70s?
   Since you're a member you can access all the registers online yourself by logging into the members area with the username and password stated in ACtion. Next, choose model (Ace) and the register can be downloaded in PDF format.
   I'm sure the registrar Tony Bancroft would be most happy with any additional info on the car's history, for instance the name of the person you sold it to.

Hi,
   You have my correct period of ownership and I will search out a good print of the car to put on line. I still remember having the car serviced by Anthony Crooks in West London and admiring Peter Sellers Ferrari standing next to my Ace.
