Is there a source other than the handbook that lists all original names of parts?
I have not quite taken the time to check but I would imagine that the handbook and the Bristol engine/gearbox manual may not always use the same term for a given part already, at least as far as the powertrain is concerned?

Just discovered a "Use of English" glossary in a well-know owners workshop manual publisher for a Saab I used to own. So I checked and found the same publisher produces an Automotive reference manual with dictionary. Don't know how good it is though.
