What do you mean it runs hot? What is the temperature shown by the gauge. What is the oil temperature. It also could be the radiator is clogged, take it to a rad shop and have them clean it and checked for leaks. Also make sure timing and fuel mixture are adjusted properly. Check all my post on the subject. I am running the original radiator and the car runs below 90 c. all day long.

Thanks Emmanuel
After the rad shop got into it, we found out it was really clogged--So going to recore it--For info that's a 6 row 30 tubes per radiator. It's should cool anything--
