I tried this and it worked.

Goto the attachments bit down below main post box click on browse find pic and open it and hey presto.  Probably not the best way but it worked. I did try the img insert bit and tried copying a pic into but got same as you.

Not sure how it would work with more than one pic.

Cheers  Gary

A car is only original once, but, you can modify it as many times as you like.

Thanks Graham, it worked. Though only one image or it complained the the file was too big.
I'm a wiser man than I was 30mins ago!!!
Just to prove it works - identify the man talking to John Spencer if you can, now that the fog of festivities has cleared!
And what's all this 'senior member' bit???

It is Placido obviously, the clue is in the picture name  ;D ;D

Senior member must mean I get reduced rates or I'm just an old git.

 :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Good news!!! It works.  ;) ;) ;)

Many thanks, Administrator and ACOC Committee for this upgraded function of direct upload of pics in conjunction with the new Forum layout.

Just a suggestion for further improvement: automatic resizing of pictures. This avoids that the author first has to create a smaller version of his picture before he can upload.

I don't mean to be annoying, this is what I've been working on today and I just want to see it works

Has any progress been made with automatic reduction of images for posting ?
If not can anybody advise a simple way to go about things using an iPad ?
The images are on the iPad but when I try to post them I am informed that the file is too big.
Thanks in advance,
Colin.
I might be rough but I’m slow as well.

There isn't an auto resize function on this software.  I don't use a tablet, but on my PC I use Microsoft Picture Manager which came with it and is (I think) a free download.  You can resize, rotate, crop etc.
