Need help with vin # history

Can any one help me with the history or build information on a  1964 A C Vin # osx2988 and engine # 0013

"OSX" is not an AC (Thames Ditton) chassis prefix and "2988" was not allocated by AC to a Thames Ditton Cobra.  The implication is that the vehicle was not manufactured by AC in Thames Ditton.

Incorrect font for "AC CARS' etc. also, I think - probably replica plate.

This is an after-market replica AC chassis tag, it having several very clear giveaways.
   
   The car was not built by AC and not built in 1964.
