Aceca Restore ?
« on: June 26, 2007, 23:19:32 »
Has anyone here used a restoration company / "man who can" for a complete rebuild? If so what is likely cost for a basic job (not concours)?
My '57 AC Aceca was used for 25 yrs, but has been in a barn for the last 25 ! It will need a complete stripdown, which is more than I can manage on my own.
If anyone can recommend a restorer who charges reasonable rates, then maybe she'll be rejuvenated - otherwise there'll be a few spares available for the club vultures to pick over !![:(]

Tim,

I just caught your post now. I take it you must be in the UK and talked to john. His car is beautiful. If you are stateside: I just got mine done and can make a recommendation.
