I have a 2litre saloon that is currently painted "Maroon" though it left Thames Ditton "Slate Grey" in the next twelve months or so I will be having it resprayed and would like to go back to the original colour.My problem is finding the original "Slate Grey" does anyone own an AC in that colour and if so could you let me have a colour photo that can be used to make up the paint

You could try The Brooklands Motor Company as I`m sure they have the original AC paint sample cards and could advise on a current paint code, or better still, get them to paint it!
