Water temperature gauge
« on: January 27, 2017, 16:54:49 »
I am trying to source or construct a correct capillary type water temperature gauge for my 1962 260 Cobra. The model number of the item originally fitted was TG1501/20 and had a temperature range of 30-100 degrees.
The script on the face of a donor unit isn't important as this can be replaced. The important element is the temperature range, units with a max temp range up to 110 and 140 are readily available both new and second-hand but 100 seems to be hard to find.
I would greatly appreciate any help in finding a suitable donor - working or not.
A picture of the original dashboard and gauge can be found in the earlier post entitled CS2030

Thanks to all who viewed this post. I've now sourced a suitable donor temperature gauge. Please view the small ads on the web site for other parts required.
