   LE MANS CLASSIC 2016 ( 8th/9th & 10th July )
   
   
   We still have a few spaces left for this years Le Mans Classic.
   
   
   Package includes Ferry tickets departing from Portsmouth on Thursday evening 7th July ( Cabin included ) and returning Monday evening 11th July.
   Inclusive of Chateau accommodation, 3  x day entry &paddock passes and 3 day grandstand tickets.
   
   Budget for two people in one car for the 5 days approx. £1000.00
   
   I have to have £100 deposit per person  ( Cheques payable to AC Owners Club Ltd ) and confirmation of personal details, e.g.
   Full name as per passport, date of birth and car registration number this week..... French Port Authorities have tightened Security so must urgently get details and commitment from any potential participants, or will have to cancel Ferry tickets which are now as rare as hens teeth.
   
   As stated in the Le Mans Classic advert which has been in the past 4 months ACtion, This is the 8th and final Le Mans Classic  that I am organising, No one has  to date volunteered to organise the 9th Le Mans Classic in 2018.
   
   Any one wishing to join the ACOC party and meet up with AC Members from France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and even the USA are more than welcome.[]
   
   Give me a call or send me a e-mail,  Details in  ACtion advert, Membership directory or simply respond via the forum.
   
   Could be the last LMC organised by AC Owners Club,   Is it one of those events on your bucket list..[?]
   
   Package Details regards Chateau and  Ferry Tickets will be confirmed within the next few weeks.
   The balance for the  Ferry tickets and Le Mans Classic tickets will be required this month, leaving  the chateau to be settled in Euro when at your Chateau.

   Will have to try and return unused tickets ( Returned 17 x grandstand tickets @ 120 Euro each with no cancellation), But will have to pay for any rooms  not occupied.[B)]
   
   If any ACOC member or friend is interested, ( If not in an AC, Any Classic car will do be it, " Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Lotus or Ford F100 pickup truck" )

   This will be the last Le Mans Classic organised by me,  not sure if any club member will step forward for 2018....  Maybe last chance to
   take advantage of special club rates... Before this great event becomes even bigger, more commercialised and therefore more expensive[]

   Ms Posty ..  ..  ..  Has delivered the Le Mans Classic tickets/passes this morning,  will endeavour to put together individual LMC packages (LMC Paddock/Grandstand Passes, Ferry Tickets and Road book with Chateau details and post on  within the next few days, hopefully everyone including those in Germany and Luxembourg receive everything
   intact within the next week...[]
   
   Jean Marc  has organised AC Rallye Plaques,  ( Thank you Jean Marc )..[] which I will collect and distribute on arrival in the ACOC LMC  parking area ( #99 )on Saturday morning 9th July.

Many thanks to Keith for having organized our venue to this year's LMC. Superb château arrangements, excellent weather, superior action on the race track.. and what is utmost important: ACOC friendship. It was nice to see some of our members back, some unfortunately we missed (no wonder with some 123000 visitors to the LMC), some we got newly aquainted with ....

Very disappointing to hear that the ACOC`s massive Ace at Le Mans banner was stolen over the weekend, please share the message in the hopes that it might be recovered...this is not what we enthusiasts expect to happen at an event like this. []

   Thank you for posting and tweeting the loss of the large ACOC Ace racing Banner which has formed the back drop to the last 5 ACOC Le Mans Classic club area.
   
   Mike Harrison, Andy Shepherd and I spent half a hour securing our Club Banner with a dozen heavy duty cable ties first thing Saturday morning,  It was still a back drop
   to our club parking area at 01.30 Sunday morning but some ignorant arse removed it between 01.30 and
   06.15 Sunday morning.
   
   This Banner was donated to The AC Owners club by Patrick Peter back in 2006 in order to encourage other clubs to present a more professional image of their marque.
   
   I only wish I had marked the reverse side with permanent marker pen
   "property of AC Owners Club "  But you don't expect like minded Classic car enthusiast to be so ignorant and callous.
   
   The banner was approx. 4 metres by 3 metres so is too big to decorate ones garage walls.
   
   Lets hope, someone contacts us and we can arrange collection, for use at future ACOC events.
   
   Last but not least, I take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given me in attending the past 8 Le Mans Classic, time for me to step aside
   and let someone else or a small group take over organising the 2018 Le Mans Classic,   Both Chateau used for the past 6 LMCs welcome us for 2018.
   
   Please contact Andy Shepherd and run with it,  I will give support and assist in  handing over details.
