Does anybody know this car? Is the price really good for such a modified car (GM V8 engine and gear box, Jag diff., sidepipes, bad gauges etc.)

The sidepipes, Grant steering wheel and the B&M shifter would have to go, along with that color. The Aceca's body & glass looks good. Make changes as you drive and enjoy the car.

A tastefully modified car might be worth this, but cowboys are not known for restraint.  Fixing the exhaust, steering wheel and shifter are not too expensive for the DIY.  The paint and interior could cost quite a bit.  Deduct accordingly.

Does it look like "...BEX654 still proudly wears the factory wire wheels..." To you? [V] DEEEEP dish! [:0]

It still looks like it has the potential to be a viable resto project at that sort of money though, depending what horrors could lay beneath! [:)]
