Thanks for your help. However wrong one. The correct one I believe is Lucas 25026. I did ask the seller if they might have one though......

   Ivs

During last nights ACOC Council meeting, Barry Howsley made reference to your Thread on Bristol Starter Motors.

   Subsequently I received (26/02/16 - 09.10) the following email:-

   Morning Keith

As promised, info on starter motors,  all from the " LUCAS MASTER CAT. 1945-1960".

   25532 B AC Engine "55/60"

   25065 B/E  Bristol Eng.  "56/60"
   25065 F/H  Bristol Eng.  "60 on.

   25065F     Fairthorpe  " Atomota" or " Zeta"  59/60.

Early Bristol Eng.  (85 series) used 25006 but this is 2 brush motor NOT 4 brush as 25065, but still works.

Hope this info is of help, I can always look up items if you want me too.

   Regards  Barry
   .
   .
Thank you Barry for your input,  much appreciated.[;)]

   Cheers

Unless you are looking for originality you might go for a high torque motor from
   for example www.wosperformance.co.uk
