I see from the results of the July sale at Coys that a 1951 (sic) 2.6 fetched £93k. But no Aces of any kind were made as early as 1951, let alone a 2.6! And the price achieved is about half what I would expect.
   
   Does anyone know anything about this mysterious machine?

Thanks for input: I think it must be. What a performance! Wny not just build a replica and be honest about it, or a continuation car with the company's blessing?
