MKIV availability?
« on: August 22, 2015, 17:59:18 »
I will be moving to the UK in Spring 2016 and am looking for a nice Mk IV Cobra. Ideally it would be a Lightweight spec left hand drive, but will be interested in any Mk IVs currently for sale.

Rod Leach Nostalgia has my Lightweight for sale which is RHD.
He did have a 1985 LHD MkIV 427 but you have missed this one as it is now sold.
   His email address is Rod_Leach@btconnect.com

The above link doesn't work. Do you mean this one here:

I don't believe that this is a real offer. I am working in Bremerhaven and believe me, these pictures from the advertise are never ever made in Bremerhaven [xx(]

well seen: pictures were made in avenue Arouet, Antony (southern suburb of Paris)[:)]  most likely at the corner leading into Avenue de la Duchesse du Maine [;)]

Here is the car for sale at the French dealer - still listed!

   http://www.historiccars.fr/ac-cobra-autokraft-mkiv-429.html

I have to say it looks very nice, but with 15" wheels they all do, as it easy to adjust the ride height. I like the colour combination. The 429?... well its not an improvement on the 427 is it? and as to the asking price....?? Registered older cars in France are normally more expensive, as it's nowadays it is very difficult to register classic cars.

That engine doesn't look like a 429 to me.  Didn't the 429 have hemi heads?
