discovered BEX1164
« on: August 21, 2015, 15:23:08 »
Greetings all. I am a new member and have been working with a gentleman in the town that I grew up in that has had BEX1164 hanging from the ceiling of his garage for over 40 years in New England. It is green with a tobacco interior. These are original. It was being modified to run a Jag rear end and Buick V8 in the early seventies in the Boston area when he rescued it and salted it away. It is not complete but has many original features. Working with Ron Leonard we have fleshed out a lot of difficult bits.I have been involved in quite a few Accecas, Aces and 289 cars.I am trying to compile some history of it's early years. I am told the first owner was a P.R. Shrier. Any assistance would be fantastic. Thank you, Spencer
