Would you buy a Mk V. rather than a Shelby continuation from Bill Shepherd (or better still a MkIV)?

Given the BS I'm still going through with the anniversary car, I'd be a masochist to do it all again.
   The MKIV, SB and CRS all appealling, but just not worth the headache. Imagine trying to get all the suspension,  brake and steering drawings and then submit them for design approval and that is before they will even look at the car.
