15" Wheels
« on: February 07, 2014, 15:46:52 »
After 2 years of putting up with indifferent handling and having your teeth shaken out, I decided to try the 15" wheel modifiaction that has been the subject to many previous posts.

   The results look like :

   Other work carried out included
front and rear anti roll bars
new suspension shock tower strut brace

Appears to be much improved, all that is needed now is some dry weather.............

New 15" wheels by AC COBRA CRS, on Flickr

I don`t care how it feels, it transforms the look of the CRS totally, lovely stance, nice full arches! Excellent job!

   Wheels are Halibrand

Really lovely! Where did you get the spinners, as I have some old and rather dog-eared ones on my car and would like some new bronze ones.

Spinners were from Hawk, I chose stainless steel for strength.

I had bronze spinners made for me, but I didn't keep them ... Although it is a very good material (doesn't size on hubs, and it "absorbs" hammer hits very well), they're damn heavy !
