I saw the black car at the rm auction in fort lauderdale in feb. 2007. It did not sell. It would take a lot of money to get that car back to decent condition. A great deal more money to make it nice. Maybe it is fairly priced for its condition.

Are my eyes deceiving me or does the one that has just sold have 16" front wheels and 15" rears?

I'll bet it is a bogus sale, the bid history shows the bids went from 25,000 to 58,888 in ONE bid. Smells funny yo me, eBay is fast becoming a joke due to bogus auctions and fake listings.

that car looked like it was seriously beat on, don't think it was the original motor and it just looked liked it wass "used" pretty hard.  the YouTube proves is was never driven hard !!!

Sale is not bogus. I have firsthand knowledge of transaction. Previous owner of MK IV wanted another one. Intention is to drive car and render TLC. Had 2 "perfect" stock cars that were both driven, modified and sold in better condition than when purchased. AK1059 will likely follow the pattern. Cheers to all!![:)]
