   First inspection on site

Clearly to see: All the dust from years in the barn

Martin,
Looks like antisway bars are not fitted to the back end. How about the front?

You are right there is no antiswaybar in the back - even not in the front.
If car is back on the road again I will test how it feels without any antisway bar.
Uwe (Westcott) told me that he also drives without having any.

Is it known that antisway bar was included generally - or option only?

I do not know for AKL (I thought they were equiped), but AK cars didn't have ARB standard (unless buyer asked for them)... I read that Angliss wanted a comfortable ride, and didn't think they were useful for cruising on US highways [;)] !

Hello Martin
again congratulations , just in case you don t know: In the magazine Sport Auto from April 1997 is a test and a discription of exactly your car. I think you can buy it for a small amount on ebay.

Even the ugly bracket on the tunnel is visible in the Sport Auto cover story...  ;-)

Many thanks for the hint Jürgen....always good to have this excellent Britsch Forum to communicate - even we live in the same town in Germany :-)))))).
Just bought it on ebay.......I'm very excited :-)).

Copyright is going to be a more and more bigger issue in these days....it doesn't matter how old an article is....Copyright is valid for ever.
Moreover you have many persons, companies involved in one press article....the author, the photograph...all with their own Copyrights.
You realy run in trouble in publishing things you have no rights on. Fines of 1000 € or more are normal in these days. There is a huge legal "industry" developing only to sue you for fines.
