AC's in Trinidad
« on: June 08, 2013, 18:39:41 »
Does anyone know if there were ever any AC's in Trinidad.
Venezuela is only 8 miles away, and there is the ACE story there.

Trinidad had a lot of Brits there in the 1950's & 60s.

Graham,

No TD cobras; Venezuela had the nearest.

As far as I have been able to establish there were no ACs delivered when new to Trinidad during the period 1930-1985.

However, it is quite possible that cars would be exported there in an earlier period. ACs were sent all over the world before 1930, in particular to corners of the former British Empire, but we have no records for that period.
