Color code for my red MKIV missing

How can I find out my color code when the code is not listed on my AC MKIV?  It's usually in the engine compartment, but I cannot find it.  Porsche Guards Red? Mercedes Signal Red?  In the garage, it actually looks Candy Apple Red, but I don't think the factory painted it that color.  Yes, it's the original paint.

I will check in my SAAC book and see if it is listed with any particularity. I recall that the book will say "red" but might not say which red.

If it looks "candy red", probably PGR or MB Signal red.....

I checked my SAAC book and it just says "red". No help.
