Actually, AC Automotive put the D8 broadcast on their FB site. They mention that the steering shall be improved for future models.

A silver metallic Mk VI with burgundy red interior and under car exhaust was spotted yesterday at the motorshow in Luxembourg.
   Displayed on a stand of car shine and leather trimmers, it was reported to be on loan from the Mommenheim dealer.

Yes, this car has automatic gear, very seldom for such an engine and gear ratio (the kick down send you into the stars). I could see it in Heyda at the end of production, almost ready for shipment, very nice colours.
