It is getting ridiculous. Actually one prototype of early 2011 could be finally delived in Switzerland, but still no due date for my car. Slowly but surely, I start sharing Trevor's mindset on that topic...

The French distributor got another AC Mk VI:

I wonder if I ever will get mine, I did not order over Formula Lease :-(

2 cars are still for sales on their websites:
   http://www.formula-automobiles.com/occasion,ac.html

They also have some comments in French about the car test in France:

Just got a notice yesterday they are mid in producing the car. So the answer is no, I did not receive any firm delivery date yet.
I am quite puzzled that a distributor gets cars for display in showroom but not early private customers who have firm orders.
I am getting used to it; I ordered a Gibson guitar and this is the same procedure, delivery date get postponed when it is supposed to be delivered. Custom made is not for people in a hurry!

Business is business and this is not my business! In French we say: "les voies du Seigneur sont impénétrables" and in Italian... I prefer not to say it.

I asked for my definitive chassis-nb as well as engine-nb, as the ones I have in my order confirmations have been delivered to the french distributor.
No answer so far. Actually I have been promised that I will drive the car still this year. I already ordered winter tyres and chains.
No progress so far, hope that the manufacturer did some.

Hi James, thanks for the fair advise. Actually I learned to be patient with time, probably being too long in mountains and facing adverse weathers and conditions so often, waiting for the window of opportunity for a clean summit day.
I might have grown fatalist :-( Things shall come when they shall come.

I will anyway drop a reminder to the manufacturer, better than nothing.

Great pics Brian, I gues I shall try too. Actually, the car shall be here mid of November, but still with German license plates. Homologation will be the next hurdle for the manufacturer. Anyway, I have an order with Swiss homologation included, so delivery completed only upon having my Swiss license plates on the car, probably next year in April (I am allowed to have the car 6 months with foreign license plates).
It is more than an adventure or a journey. It is an expedition!
