Interesting little snippet in Feb. issue of Octane that 428 values are hardening. In "Market Trends" or something, towards the back anyway.

FYI - it's in the Market Reports section of Octane on pages 142 and 146 including a quote from Andy Shepherd - John.

How much commission do you get from the 33.3p Mr. Bagshaw????  (and how do I get a slice of the action...?)

Also this month’s edition of Classic Cars (Feb 2012) has a nice contribution from Kevin Kivlochan about his participation in the inaugural race at Snetterton for the Historic V8 Racers association last October and Kevin and Sharron’s participation in the ACOC sprint at Goodwood.

FYI – The March edition of Classic Cars leads with an article comparing the Cobra and Ace.
March issue due out 25th Jan and I think the cars involved are 1 CSX and 1000 PF.

Hi Nik, I did look into it last year actually as it sounded very interesting, but in this case the catch seemed to be you then get loads of junk mail through the post which whilst I assume it covers Octane's costs I get far too much of already. Is this true ?

No. If you 'deselect' the tickboxes for mail, email & phone, you get nothing. At least, I`ve not had any junkmail, even though I regularly partake of their generous offer! Just remember to cancel subs before the specified date of your 'continuing' payment as it will revert to £27 every 6 months-ish. {:)]

Thanks for the info. seems an expensive way to get people hooked as I would have thought a lot of people must do the same ? It's why I think you have to be careful with any of these so-called "free" offers as there's always the risk that home addresses can be sold to anyone.

   Still it's worth a thought....[:)]
