MK IV suspension adjustment report in ACtion
« on: January 10, 2024, 16:02:58 »
I‘m looking for the ACtion edition showing the guideline how to adjust the MK IV rose joints.

It was explained there what adjustments in turns at the rose joints resulted in what adjustment in degrees.

Many thanks, Uwe

Uwe-have sent you a message. I wrote the Action article.
I can email you the word document.

Out of interest does the mkiv have a toe adjust on the rear wheels ( as the Mkiv CRS does).

Regards,
Graham

Graham, yes, the MK IV has toe in adjustment. I think the rear suspension is the same or close for both car variants.

I tried to add a recent picture but the size is too large.

Get yourself a decent camber/caster gauge and tracking gauge and you can set it yourself. Also if you’re adjusting anything to do with ride hight you’ll need to loosen both lower arm rubber bush pins

Thanks a lot Graham for your email. That document is now part of my MK IV technical descriptions.
