It's good to see an update on this car, which is documented in the Factory Ledger and has been reported on occasionally.
   
   For the record, at least 2 3000MEs were made LHD by the factory, including the very first production car. If this car is a conversion, there will be tell-tale signs on the RHS where the original steering column would have penetrated the front bulhead, and the hydraulics would have been attached.
   
   Are the electrics on the R or LHS of the front compartment?

A quick tot-up from the chassis number Gallery on the ME Forum gives a total of seven LHD cars.
