Looking to identify this AC ACE, Aceca speedometer? I do not need this gauge if anyone has interest in it. Thank you.

Nigel thank you for the reply. My research has shown that many AC cars had this speedometer. I wonder if the clock in the speedo was an available option on AC cars? See my attached pictures of an original unrestored 63 Aceca. Thank you...Rick

I believe the clock was standard equipment on Ace and Aceca models but later on in production the clock became a separate gauge on the dashboard and so the clock was deleted from the speedometer.

Gunnr,
The 130 MPH Speedo, without clock, would be for a late, say 1961 on, Ace Bristol, Aceca Bristol or Ace 2.6, Aceca 2.6. However, being A.C.s there might well be variations to this rule with clock bearing speedos being found on some later cars and retrofitted non clock speedos on earlier cars. All part of the charm

Ah very interesting, our '58 car doesn't have the clock, but we know the car crashed out of the '61 Goodwood TT, and the alluminium dash was bent. I had put two and two toegther and assumed the original speedo was broken in the impact, and the speedo would then have been replaced probably in '62.. which would explain why it has no clock.
