Early Aceca Windscreen Frame
« on: December 29, 2021, 19:48:40 »
Our glass installer is saying our frame is not original as it is one piece construction and would need to be in two pieces in order to replace the glass and rubber gasket. Is he correct? from my eye, the frame looks original, and to replace the glass is just a tricky procedure. Could any early Aceca owners provide guidance? I'd hate to molest a good frame needlessly.
Thanks in advance,
Rolly Boorman

I can confirm that the original Aceca windscreen frame is in one piece without any removable sections.
It is possible to replace the screen when using the same profile rubber seal as was originally used.

Thanks Klassik Metall;
That's the confirmation I needed. Believe I have the correct rubber.
