Wimp - Acronym - With Insufficient Mechanical performance.
Usually applied to all Non "AC" manufactured cars & those vehicles that cannot keep up or are of inferior build quality.
All vehicles manufactured after 2002 fall into this category.

Hence "Trailers are for wimps" is a sound and reasonable statement.

   LOL !! [:D]

O.k., Mr. NoMac. I´ll put my Mk IV on the trailer (it has clocked 5.800 miles since 1984, that´s why I don´t want to add so much miles to the tach) and you´ll take the Coupe (if it isn´t sold up to that date). Start saving money. Soon it will be Christmas and there may be many patrol cans under the christmas tree!
You will have to put 350 miles of german autobahn under the wheels.

OK, it`s NOT wimping out to keep your mileage low on the MkIV!!! Do you want me towing the MkIV with the Coupé though? [:D][:D] Now I have to buy waterproof suitcases to carry the Petrol over, I hope it goes through airport security OK!!![:o)]

Are you trying to win the decadence award? Arrive in St Tropez towing a Cobra with a Daytona Coupe? Whilst I might add neither car belong to said driver!

Give some people an inch and they'll take a mile!

Looking at the above images, I think Nik can win the decadence award without leaving home (yuk)

However, towing a 'Daytona' into St. Trop with a Cobra wins points for style. Doing it with someone elses car(s) is pure genius.

   I`ll need a co-driver!

I`m thinking professional racing driver here, being Mr.(Mc!)Decadent!

   Maybe an Indy car winner...

...knows their way around a Cobra...

   ...Hmmm,

Who could possibly fit the bill?

   Oh, I know...

I wonder if Danica Patrick is busy in 2010? [:D]

Well, one of the questions would be: who will be in St Tropez in may?
Any kind of Cobra (289, 427, roadster, Daytona...) welcome, any kind of co driver welcome too (Danica Patrick seems to feature quite interresting arguments...)[8D]
Did you have a look at accobra.de/annual_cobrameeting?
There, you will see details of our British friend Nigel's trip to Austrian Cobra meeting this year and his feeling about the event.
Remember bookings are to be done before december 15th to make sure getting accomodation all together.
Till today, 35 Cobras entered, just be the next one!
   Kind regards[:)]

Is Danica a nurse? Then it´s the right choice! I can try to get an approval from german TÜV for a trailer tow hitch. I´m afraid my one and only argument will be, that a trailer might prevent the Coupe from spinnning [:D]!

Yes, Sir. Promise to stop to fool around. Will check my time schedule (takes 2 minutes) and my wife´s opinion (may take from 2 minutes (No!!!!) to several weeks). Well, I remember riding the road on the sea from St. Trop to Cannes (on my bicycle, indeed) and I have to say it is one of the best rides you can have in / on a vehicle. Et les Alpes Maritimes, merveilleuse. I remember when I was in Juan les Pins I went to the bakery one early morning to get some croissants - it was some two years ago - the streets wet from cleaning (as they do usually in France in the early morning) when I heard a howl and a Lamborghini Espada turned up, rumbled around the place and disappeared again - phanomenal occurence. I felt set back for four decades!
Always worth a trip, la cote d´Azure! Really. Specially in spring times!
