Luke

Please reserve for me ..  ..   1 x Ace rear brake Bleed Tool,  in  Natural finish. Thank you.
I will have a word at next ACOC Council meeting to discuss possibility that Acedes Spares hold a stock, that's assuming there are any left from the initial batch.
ACOC Club members do appreciate and support private initiatives for special tools and  special parts,  e.g. when I   initiated The Ace Fuel filler caps I received orders for 183 in 5 weeks,   I have now supplied  members with more than 320 Ace over rider brackets.
Barrie Birds early style  Chrome over riders sold out within a few months.
Luke..  ..  ..  Your initial batch or 20 x  each spanner , Should fly off the shelf.  Good Luck with your venture.   ;)

Keith

So we have a brake bleed spanner as pictured below.......the brake adjustment spanner is proving more difficult as to get it as close to original there is a fair bit of heat involved.........but we are nearly there.......photos of that to follow........just want to make sure everybody who expressed an interest is happy.
Regards and stay well, Luke

Sorry for not giving this thread all the attention it deserves.
If any of the initial batch are not yet spoken for I would like to express my interest in a bleeder tool (unpainted if possible) and probably also the adjuster tool if that project will come out successful as well.
Thanks for your effort!

Hi Luke,

Looks to be well made. Thanks for all the pics from different angles. The hex shape came out well formed. Should work nicely. I look forward to when you ship them out. Thanks for your efforts!

John

Ok....we have one of each finished......good news is the final price for the bleed spanner is £25 ( a £5 saving ) however the brake adjustment spanner has worked out at £48 ( £18 more than expected )
If you look at the photos you will realise we have not just welded on a piece of square tube......it is as original.....round tube that has then been forged......this has taken up more time than expected hence the price. 2nd class signed for postage should be £4.50 including bubble wrapping.
Please can you place your orders on the forum with name and address. I am in the process of working out how to pay......will be in touch.
Stay well everyone, Luke

.
Luke.

Thank you for picking up the gauntlet and running with this project,
Both Ace/Aceca Rear brake Bleed and Rear Brake Adjuster  Spanners look 100%,    Good quality accurate copies of the original AC Ace /Aceca  tools suppled direct from Thames Ditton back in the 1950s /1960s.
They will fit the original AC Spare Tool kit tray and be appreciated by all members not just those on the Concour Circuit.
Your  initial batch of 20 off each Ace /Aceca  rear bleed and adjusting spanner should fly off the shelf real quick, I will suggest
at the ACOC Council meeting that either the balance  of initial batch or  orders for a second batch will be covered by the Club .
In the meantime speaking on behalf of Club Members ,  A Big Thank You, really appreciated but not always shown.
In Good Old AC Manner ..  ..  ..  ..    BLOODY WELL DONE !
