Well spotted, the price is very low, I'm not sure this dealer knows what he has, so someone will get a bargain. I wonder if it will hang around.

Looking at the register the colour / interior seems original. Still tempting, only if I did not have more projects than I have time!

Correct, all ally body, the last ally body car is the one I have which is chassis 60, this is chassis 29. So consider around 5-6K less than one will fetch at the moment. Not sure what condition it is in, but looks OK.

After chassis 60, production went to SA, two major changes occured, bonnet bulge was removed and headlights were changed to a single square unit. The car in the picture has the two seperate full / side lights.

I must say I have driven the car for a lot of miles since owning and it has been brilliant. I have had a number of Ac's and this car handles the best too date.

AC Heritage Currently have a 1998 model for sale, compare the differences:

If I had the money spare, I think I`d happily have either, as I think they are a lovely looking car.

It would be fun to see John`s car & "N50 ACE" parked side by side, only 1 letter different on the plates!!![8D]

Yep, would be nice. Now you can see early hand built ally cars and the later model that Ac Heritage have for sale. Also see the price difference, one is aroun 20K and the other 16K (4K difference). I think they are one of the most underrated AC's. They cost new over £70K and they are one of the cheapest ways to get into AC's
