Andy,
this problem was discussed in post https://www.acownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=8724.msg52014#msg52014
I guess the quickest solution is to make up a pipe using a T connector.

By the way the reference to the expansion tank in the post is not accurate. There is another post discussing the expansion tank which
states its from a mk 2 fiesta which I think is correct.

Ace 'Brooklands' Forum / Re: Sigma SG3 alarm/immobiliser
« on: April 14, 2023, 08:06:32 »
You have my sympathy!
I have two alarm key fobs that are on their last legs (not been replaced since 2013) and I have no idea how to replace them or remove/replace the alarm system.
I found a Sigma M30 instruction manual for Subaru on the net (https://www.scoobynet.com). This manual refers to a Multi-functional keypad, mounted within the vehicle, which could be used as an emergency override, and a secure computer controlled data link to the security system control unit, usually mounted under the bonnet. I've not found either of these items on my vehicle. There are other posts on the Scoobynet forum referring to M30 problems and removal.

I have a CoC renewal certificates which state the model fitted is an M30, issued by Raven Security, 8 Bastion Rd. Prestatyn LL19 7ES, maybe they can help you. I don't live in UK, plus I found it difficult to communicate with them by e-mail and phone. So I would be pleased to hear if you manage to find out anything.

Good luck /Paho

Seems its made the press in Sweden, see this google translate version:

"The price list is expected to start at 285,000 pounds, equivalent to approximately 3.6 million kroner, at home in Great Britain"
I believe it when I see it. I think I prefer the luxury massage chairs.

Ace 'Brooklands' Forum / Re: Roof hydraulic rams
« on: March 29, 2023, 09:09:09 »
Hi Nev,
I have looked at the info I have collected and I have not been able to identify who made the hydraulic rams more than the manufacture's name plate "Detec GmbH" who are no longer trading. I needed a hydraulic pipe repaired here when the steering pump pipe burst, and was advised to search for a hydraulic service workshop that did farm and transport vehicles. Found one that fixed the pipe while I waited.

I suggest you search using "hydraulic service center uk". When I did a search a number of companies based in different parts of UK were listed who do repairs.
Good luck /Paho

« on: January 30, 2023, 22:27:15 »
Hi Andy,
my aerial was on its last legs, it had been bent at some stage in its life and I couldn't find a reasonable replacement part. It was original equipment on a Mercedes model but I didn't record the details, you can find the antenna details stamped on the plastic casing of the antenna behind the battery.
I bought a replacement made by Connects2, https://www.connects2.com/Product/ProductItem/CT27UV08, Automatic Electric Antenna model CT27UV08. This had a rubber mount that fitted the car wing, similar to the original. They are based in UK, you could ring them and see if they supply the mounts separately.

As for the spare parts list it seems to have run out in the sand back in 2020, to be fair Covid came into the fore at that time. I shared what information I had with AcemanToo. I can send you what I have but cannot guarantee its veracity.

Contact the relevant registrar directly - contact details are in ACtion.
That was in John A. in 2021 is that still correct? I haven't been a member since 2021.

Although access to the registers is restricted to current ACOC members, the information in those published on the club website is regarded as public domain information.  The register entry for a particular car may be provided by a registrar in response to bona fide enquiries from non-members, for example from a prospective purchaser.  Any other information not in the public domain (and there is a lot out there - there are numerous photos of both my ACs on the internet) is regarded as confidential. Some information in the published registers is shown as 'Withheld' on request.
Whom can I contact via the forum e-mail feature to "withhold" certain information from the register?

Do you think it's the same car?

Yes, it's the same AC Royal that is in Sweden. Chassis number 30427 which, again, is recorded wrongly, with the wrong registration, in the ACOC register. Interesting that it carries the Acedes name on the radiator, but likely correct as the car was apparently first registered in 1927 (the year the company came under S F Edge's full control, and renamed AC (Acedes) Ltd.) - this period had the six-cylinder in full production and the popularity of the four had diminished.

So the ACOC registers are open information to the public?

I have pages on Facebook and Instagram, but the information is here.

And I need information

I understand your concern for personal data and I will not disclose it. Although only the name of the owner and the city are indicated in the club's register. With such a volume of information, it is difficult to find a person even in our time.

Hi Andrey,
the club's registers also provide other information, and they are limited to club members.

I do not share your views on the difficulties of finding information in the world we have today.
One does not need "Facebook", "Instagram", or similar web applications to find information.

As for as I recollect the rams are not the same. The pump is the same except that the Ace has a 12 pipe manifold, the Peugeot 306 has 6 pipes. See for peugeot examples https://roofmotors.co.uk/ and http://www.peugeotlogic.com. Note that the Ace's rams have sensors embeded to indicate the state of the ram (closed or extended). Can't promise but I'll see what info I can find when I get home next week.
