Recent ACs / Aceca Overview
« on: April 27, 2016, 08:40:41 »
Thanks Constant, I did consider putting it into the 'Brooklands' Forum but had the model been developed I do not think so, it would have it's own Forum. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The Club is looking for a co-ordinator for this event. It has been advertised in the past two editions of ACtion but so far no one has put their hand up.

3000ME Forum / 1981 AC ME3000 (Ghia)

I had the pleasure of viewing this car earlier in the year and it is exactly what it is - a design exercise and no more. Would it have been a success - no I dont think so, it was hatched at the wrong time. ME were sales were poor, the car needed more money spent on its development first, then perhaps a new model.

We shall be discussing this years NEC Classic Car Show at the next Council Meeting as there is a proposal to have an ACOC stand/display. It requires Council rubber stamp before any plans are progressed.

French Frie on page 1 of your letter (with the AC logo) please add:
"AC is a trademark of Acedes Holdings, LLC"
The use of the logo is a problem and should be agreed with AC Cars direct.

   Thanks,

The Club is looking in to this, and should arrangements be made details will be posted. However it all appears to revolve around cost.
Watch this space as they say.

That's strange as a member rang the organisers, Wed 18/07, and was told they could collect their in field pass at the entrance.
If you still wish to attend please e-mail me directly and I'll let you know a contact name at the organisers office.
