The manufacturer of the C3RA emblem is "Tri-Delta Casting" in Michigan, the S1CS emblems were done by ASCO in California. Tri-Delta did a lot of zinc cast and plated emblems for Ford. Yes, the number is Tri-Delta's mold number.

We used to go through a lot of these on the early MK IVs. They tended to work loose and drop off. Also on cars with hood scoops we has the issue of the center rear stop being too tall and causing the seam at the center of the bonnet to crack open. We were instructed by the works to trim the stop down to reduce the pressure on the edge of the bonnet. As only hood scoop cars had the multiple piece bonnet skin it was only a problem on those cars.

I do not know what car Autokraft sourced them from as they just sent us a handful to use to replace the lost ones but I would start by looking at 70's/80's UK Ford products.

And another website to add to the three existing ones:

Methinks the "Cobra" trademark is not part of this. Ford owns that and they are not likely to allow the use by AC. Having negotiated the last "truce" between said parties I do not foresee this happening.

Perhaps the "9 original, new 260 V8s" are coming from the same barn that held Shelby's "unfinished chassis"

We need a ruling form the International Cobra Czar on this one....................

That sat on a stair landing at the Brooklands factory circa 1999. I was offered it to "take away" but it wouldn't fit in my carry on so no dice.....

Does it really matter if they are larger or smaller version, as long as you have a matching set of 4 (NOS) with correct spanner, You are home and dry..[;)].

Assuming the thread is the same size and pitch the same .[?] Can't see any reason why AC would have changed?  Unless you know better [?].[?]

   Sorry,

Do not have any nuts, only some sockets for them.

There were two different nut sizes used over the MK IV production and thus two different wrenches. Ask me how I know....

Levy Racing that built this car was certainly NOT the "AC Distributor" in the US in the 1930s. Gordon Levy was not born yet!

Oh Great Cobra Czar, thanks be to you that thou hast passed judgement upon yonder aborted project! And thank the gods that the "Mamba" WAS aborted!

And aren't we expecting some sort of tome from you forthwith?

I have found some files with parts and part numbers we supplied to ACCG in 1999 to 2000. The radiators we sent were for the 4.6 Ace/Aceca models are were PN F6ZZ-8005-C which were universal V8 replacement units that accommodated either a manual or auto transmission.

I do have a PDF file of all of the parts we supplied for the Brooklands Aces/Acecas as well as for the Superblower and CRS models.

If the registrars would like to contact me I will gladly supply this file for future reference.
