I heard one day it might catch on.......

I set up a Buckland appreciation page. About 50 members with connections to the cars. Good forum with people who respond! You might enjoy signing up just for that, link is here; https://www.facebook.com/groups/484529341714874/?ref=share

Please update us once brakes are done. I’ll copy info over to the Facebook page. Perhaps others will want to follow suit.

Sorry I had nothing to offer. Glad you sorted it out. We’re not the most interactive group are we?

Robin thank you for the alternative part numbers. They appear to be a good replacement for the OEM bearings. I was able to find in the US easily and with significant cost savings. They also got here quickly. Not something normally we hear used on our cars! Now awaiting a few parts from Brian and hopefully we can put back together next week!

If you have a link to the double bearing fix I’d be interested in seeing it. I couldn’t find on the forum.

Happy motoring!

David

Spoke with Rod yesterday he doesn’t have any of the newly modified pumps left. Hoping to get some remanufactured in the future. He will scro8nge up a few bits for me though. Also Brian has stopped carrying these parts as most new owners modify them. The parts he does have he will send. Still in need of a bearing though. Anyone have one? I have two possible part numbers LS5 V3 which was on there now or NJ77 which seems to be what many use. Any further thoughts?

Anyone have any thoughts on who might carry a rebuild kit for a water pump? Are there any remanufactured water pumps available thanks for your help!

Gary I posted I thought but it didn’t go through. Apologies on the name error. Must have been to late when I posted and I got my G names crossed up! Best of luck finding another viable candidate. My Buckland is close to being roadworthy!  Very excited about it.

Have a great weekend.

Graham sorry about your failed pursuit. There’s another with your name on it I am sure! Re the Kop or The Kop and Liverpool:

It relates to their fans and part of the stadium.

As an FYI the AC Buckland carbs on my 1950 were HV2s.

Does anyone have part numbers and source of rebuild kits fir the carbs? I believe they are HV2’s based on what I’ve read.

Thanks

David
