I used a Uni-syn for years.
   They are still available online for 30 bucks. I think I paid 6 or 7 in 1960.

In the mid-1960's I replaced the original 5.50x16 Michelin X's with 185 Pirelli Cinturatos.
   The grip under all conditions was much better, but both back tires rubbed where they crossed the line of the fenders on hard cornering and blistered the paint.
   For a short time before my Ace was lost in a fire, I had and liked the 185 Avons.

After two paragraphs detailing extensive modifications to BEX 406, the claim is made:  "One of the most appealing features of this AC Ace is its originality."
   One has to laugh.
   1090 seems to have one of the too-vertical grills that pop up from time to time.

This is a nice looking Ace.
   I think that if I were offering a car of this quality and value, I would attempt to more accurately describe the engine number, leather color (white not red) and kind of brakes (4 wheel drums.)
