Hello to all - My name is Tom Innes and I am the very happy new owner of AEX456. As was pointed out in a longer thread from last summer, the car is in amazing near-original condition. It has been driven only about 300 miles in the past 6 years so it will need to be carefully brought back to a more regular driver status.
   
   AEX456 joins BE772 in my garage - Hard not to smile broadly when I open the doors!

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / AEX 115 for sale in Hemmings

AEX 115 is listed in this morning's Hemming's. Asking price is $150,000.
   The engine is a 2.6 liter V6 Capri installed in 1976. No pictures of the engine compartment or the undercarriage. Not certain any of the shots are current - perhaps the interior ones.
   
   White is not my favorite color, but have to say that the car is beautiful - but they all are, right?

A two-Aceca day in the USA - one on each coast. BEX 671 is back on eBay, looking about as it did 5 months ago with its original red interior and its Olds engine

   I just saw this Aceca - AEX660-  listed for sale in this morning's Hemmings update.
   Listed at $65,000 - "negotiable" per the seller. The ad also lists several interesting spares. Car is very low mileage and appears to be in excellent condition. Is anyone familiar with it?

During auction week in Arizona it is always interesting to see what cars surface in the local newspaper. This week we have around 400 listings of "classics and antiques". One that caught my eye is listed as a 1963 AC Ace 289 that the seller explains is "the original aluminum AC, serial number AEX198." Seller is asking $125,000.
   
   Anyone know this car?

This Aceca w/ a Daimler V8 transplant is highlighted on
   Bring a Trailer this morning (US-EDT). I couldn't find any information when I searched, but I assume someone on the forum knows this car and its history. I actually like the beefier stance of the rear end - not sure what it does for handling.

The three AC cars at RM's Phoenix auction did quite well
   with AEX138 going for $175,000; BEX1118 for $230,000 and BEX766
   for $125,000. These are all "hammer" prices so assume another 10% on top.

   I just received the flyer for RM's January auction here in Phoenix. Two things of interest: they have doubled the number of cars to be sold (150 vs 70-80 in past years) and there are three ACs all listed with "No Reserve". The cars are Aces AEX138, BEX1118 and Aceca BEX766. All three appear to have been recently restored. Details can be found at www.rmauctions.com. Skip the video and click on the Arizona link.
