In addition to the new AC badge, this same seller (an Aston restorer in the US) has a variety of other AC and Aceca parts, wood rim steering wheel, workshop manual, knock-offs, rear lower A arm, Jag Laycock OD, etc.

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / AC Ace vs. Ferrari 166
« on: January 24, 2013, 03:16:38 »
I've always loved the linkage from the design/look of the AC Ace/Tojeiro vs. the early Ferrari 166/212 Barchetta (one of my life long favorites).

Now I see this 1950 Ferrari 166 coupe which from the rear and side has an amazingly similar look of an Aceca (particularly when the side shot is compared to the recently advertised black Aceca with the bad front end rework:

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Amelia Island Auction
« on: March 15, 2011, 03:49:27 »
At the March 12 RM Auctions, AEX 93 (now with a Bristol engine) sold for $148,500 (US).

An early Cobra (CSX 2485) didn't sell for $425,000.

The top seller was a 1952 Ferrari 340 Mexico coupe at $790,000 over it's $3,500,000 high estimate.

Guess the economy isn't too bad!

   Gooding also reported:
   BEX404 - 258,500 and Aceca AEX607 at 110,000 US.

Then today BEX404 appeared on Classic Driver for 289,000 US

Is this like flipper homes here in the US????
