4000 Euro  sounds very realistic, but i think there are a lot of other costs for transport insurance (on my way back from Scotland i have meet some guys from the morgan car club netherlands and they had done the trip to the states one or two years ago and some of there cars were damaged on the transport) and car insurance for the united states (its not included in the normal car insurance) and of course Baltimore is at the east coast and most suggestions for the meeting are at the west coast so you need another tarnsport to the west coast or you have to go thousands of miles in sometimes old cars but of course if its coming true it will be the trip of the lifetime to go up the westcoast in my mkiv

When there is the focus on the english cars, why is there no chapter in the register for the factory produced continuation cars COB5001,COB5002,...

Yes it looks very good but its much cheaper than the blue Duncan Hamilton car  (not the original colour and no factory installed refitted sidepipes) but i think its around 120000 Pounds

The original batch of lightweights have no heater and the mkIII style dashboard. But there are a some cars with restyled mk III dashboards but normaly you can see the the difference above the dashboard cause also the restyled cars have the outlets for the heater under the frontscreen (you can see it at the green Albion car). The original first lightweights have no outlets there

Hallo Constant,
kannst du nicht einfach die Platte mit dem Sensor rausschrauben und  die Kontakte anfrischen und etwas auflöten?
   Liebe Grüße

General Forum / New AC MkVI Gullwing
« on: July 19, 2009, 00:18:22 »
You can see it in this way, but this is only the half of the truth, the MKIV is made on the original toolings, sometimes by the the same men with the original technics of the 60th Cobras, it is powered by Ford and its also Made in England, the only difference is that its made in Brooklands, just ten miles from Thames Ditton and that the Owner of the company was not Mr. Hurlock, it was Brian Angliss. In my opinion that is not comparible with the MKVI or the MKV. They are completly different from the CSX or COB cars.
