Keith, how hard is it to actually find a complete driveline (engine, transmission, rear end)? And at what cost?

Wish I was in the UK to attend this auction, there is a plethora of ACs being offered:

https://www.bonhams.com/auction/27520/goodwood-members-meeting/?page=2

2.6 Greyhound
Ace
Aceca
Buckland
Frua 428

and not an AC, bit a very AC-looking Aston Martin special.

Man, wish these were in the US!

If anyone happens to have a  Bristol drive train sitting around, this could be a great project! Not many pictures to see what really is or isn't there, and has obviously had some damage to the nose, but nothing that looks impossible.'

Is this a record price for an AC-engined Ace?

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Zephyr 6 parts supplier?

While I sadly don’t have a 2.6 Ace, I do have 2 Allard Palm Beaches that use the same Ford Zephyr 2.6 engine and gearbox. Both need restoration and engine rebuilds. As the Zephry was never sold here in the US, I have no idea on parts availability. Is there a source in the UK for engine/gearbox parts?

I did locate some, but now I don’t remember where! I will dig thru my file and see if I have a receipt that may indicate where I obtained them.

If it is not considered a Buckland, what is the model designation? Just DHC?

Gullwing Motors has a Buckland on eBay right now. I’m sure it is overpriced as all their stuff is, but here’s the link:

Robin, I agree! Unless the person who bought the engine always AE90, the car it came out of, I don’t get the price. Maybe auction fever.
