On behalf of Keith here are 2 pictures of AEX 160 which is currently for sale. It is not about the car itself but about the tool bag that is being showed. The pictures are not as clear as we might have hoped for. Nonetheless they could offer some form of comparison.
   Would this tool bag be a reproduction as well?

The 1968 Plumelec Aceca is not an early car because of its rounded lower windscreen corners instead of the square ones of AE 504. The change over took place after more than 100 Acecas had been built.

Here is the picture in question as well as one of the same car in the 1958 12 hours race in Reims.

Actually BEX316 has the slotted finishing plates but they are sort of an oval shape instead of the usual rectangular shape. I always thought they were homemade on my car. Can include a picture.

From the start the numbering of Ferrari's for many years has been the cubic capacity  per cylinder, not only for 12 cylinders but also for 4 cylinders (like the 2 litre 500 Mondial and 3 litre 750 Monza). The most famous being the 3 lire 250 series in many guises.
   The first Ferrari was the 125 equating approx. 1.5 litre V12, the 166 being the 2 litre that came next and then the 195 equating just over 2.3 litre and the 212 equating between 2.5 and 2.6 litre.
   Of course there are several more differences and guises with open or closed bodywork by different coachbuilders.

This is BE 792 which I almost bought as a total restoration project on 14 September 1985 from Bas de Voogd in Hellevoetsluis, Holland. It went on to another long term Dutch owner before returning to its home country several years ago. The car is still unfinished but at least in a somewhat more advanced stage of restoration.
