If you have not been sorted out with new side screens, I have patterns for both flat and curved screen types, all I will require is a template of space to fill with the hood up and 2 basic dimensions for the locating pin holes.

Do you mean the Hardy-Spicer Joints in your Quarter shafts, I can supply new joints loose or complete quarter shafts to bolt in Standard from £200 Heavy duty also available.

I might Just have one! came off Chevy engine d healey but I think it might be 72 spoke not 70, it is definitely a Yank wire wheel and 6" 1/2 very ropy will dig it out.

I do the 1" thick K&N washable filters £87.75 for a set of three plus vat P&P is free. Steve Stanton does the same but thicker approximately 1" 3/4 but these do not fit under some bonnets so do please check your clearances. Ring me on 01453 833591 or 07803 923878.

Yes Webers are easy to tune and are a great carburettor and are very well suited to many engines. I am just pointing out that on relatively low RPM long stroke engines with quite low gas velocity and Siamese ports, could, I stress could give poor mixture control at low rpm.
I agree with Robin a six port head would be far better suited for the use of Webers.
As far as I am aware no one has made Weber manifolds for the AC though this could be easily achieved by fabrication or to do the job properly have patterns made and cast some up though this can be expensive.
My feeling is that the inlet tract should be made relatively long, it is worth a trial, if you wish we could fabricate some manifolds for trying out.

There are many different approaches to fitting steering racks to ACE and ACECA. Most of which are too long and do not give good geometry resulting in bump steer etc.
Anything where point of pivot to the end of the drag links that are shorter than the radius of the wishbone will give potential problems.
We fit a re-engineered period rack that will give the correct length drag links and correct Ball joints.

Many conversions have been made regarding carburation on the Weller engine over the years, ranging from various SU set ups, Webbers, Amal and even reverse flow! Reverse flow has been tried so that you are breathing through the individual exhaust ports and exhausting through the Siamese inlet's, a Good theory but requires extensive reworking of the valve seats, a redesigned cam etc etc.
Fitting Webbers is fine but the results you get may not be what you expect. I feel that you may gain great top end but may suffer at the bottom to mid range with out putting the work in elsewhere .

Yes you can fit a J type overdrive, As far as I can remember we use one of Ben's adaptor housings and fit a New J type over drive.
Don't forget on the Bristol BWCR gear box's you have to shorten the pot gear.
