I would definately like to see older issues available as PDF (or whatever easily readable format) online.

General Forum / Proposed "directory of services" for AC owners

How about a directory of where to get parts? Or even better, a cross reference guide to parts. I'm thinking something that tells people PartA is the OEM part, but PartB works with modificationX. Or something like MGA PartA is interchangeable with AC PartB. Or the typo I found in a reprinted Lucas catalog when trying to get the rotor part number.

All for it. I've had to keep lists of folks here in the US that have parts. Though I have found the the internet has allowed my to find NOS parts. I even had Volks make me original oil filters for my '57 Aceca-Bristol!

Have you tried contacting Bristol? They say on thier website that they will work on anything that they're produced...well they produced that engine.

General Forum / directory/forum of known issues and fixes
« on: October 12, 2006, 20:22:34 »
How about a forum that people can post what they know about known issues and fixes? There are some people that are walking encyclopedia's of information that is useful to the rest of us who aren't as knowledgeable. This will also document this information so that it's not lost (or end up in Malta...).

Is there any way to get back copies of ACtion in electronic form? How about making it a PDF and emailing it out to people (especially those of us not in the UK).
