Is this an opportunity for the AC Owners Club to get copies of the CAD images Mark has commissioned, to help future members should a subframe etc need replacing for whatever reason?

Guys

Many thanks for the update, at least I now have a colour to aim for......I think it must be the Ruby Red metallic. So I think I will use the BL Damask as a starting point for the mix! Cheers Tim

Fantastic news as I have no doubt that I will need a lot of that expertise, at the moment I am trying to work out which owners are closest to me in South Molton (between Tiverton (Junc 27 M5) and Barnstaple. To date the nearest seems to be Geoff Wilkinson near Bristol.

ACOC News and Events / AC 3000ME CAD DRAWINGS
« on: December 02, 2017, 09:55:08 »
Given that it appears one member of the forum has gone to the expense of getting CAD images of 3000ME subframes etc made, but now finds himself in the  unfortunate situation of having to sell his car, should the AC Owners Club consider obtaining such drawings for members use in the future. Details are available via posts on the 3000ME section/

Am I correct in thinking that their were 2 variants of red used on the bodies? My car seems to have been re painted a very vibrant red over a more sedate "ruby red". Does anyone have the correct paint codes? I am leaning towards the darker red, that looks very similar a BL Damask red.
   All help appreciated. Cheers Tim

Hi all, have just acquired 155. Poor old girl has not seen the road since the late 80s, when she was stripped ready for a repaint that never happened. I would be interested to hear from any owners in the North Devon area (where I live), the closest to date seems to be near Bath, or for that matter any owners in the South West.
Fortunately I have some experience of classic cars having restored a few over the years and currently have a 1976 Jensen GT, 1968 MGC GTS and a 1990 TVR Tasmin 3.9 FHC. However this will be my first "fling" with an AC so I expect I will be picking the combined brains of this forum when I start on the "project" in a couple of months time. In the meantime hello and please bear with me as an AC "NEWBIE". Cheers Tim
