Cobra (Thames Ditton) Forum / Cobra glass
« on: August 26, 2014, 23:12:51 »
I have a clear laminated windscreen to fit a Cobra. I bought it 10 years ago from Europa Spares and never used it. It has been dry stored in my garage and has no frosting etc.
I thought it would fit an Ace screen (big mistake). I see they still do them at £168 incl Vat. It will not fit the early Cobra screen frame I have also put on the forum.
Email me on rod@allsworth.net for more info pictures.
   Thanks

I have an original windscreen frame including the 2 side supports, from a 1962 Ruddspeed Ace. This will also fit early Cobras.
There is no glass. The bottom bar was rechromed about 10 years ago and its been hanging in my garage since. It was not used as I managed to buy the last spare original available from Brasscraft. This will not fit AC or Bristol engine cars as the Ruddspeed was slightly wider. The frame measures 14 3/4" (375mm) deep at centre and is 52" (1320mm) wide at base measured straight not around the curve.Email me at rod@allsworth.net for pictures.
   Thanks
